A large cargo ship alongside a working container quay at dusk

Port agency since 1971 · 41 ports, 9 countries

Alongside, cleared,
and away on time.

Full and protective agency for owners, charterers and operators. One appointment covers the call, the paperwork, the crew and the disbursement account — and the DA is itemised before you are invoiced.

  • 41 ports covered
  • DAs itemised in advance
  • 24-hour duty officer

From notice of readiness to sailing

How we work

The disbursement account is the whole relationship

01

Pro-forma before the call, itemised

Every line traceable to a tariff or a third-party quote. If the final DA moves more than five per cent, you get the reason in writing before the invoice.

02

We do not mark up third parties

Tugs, pilots and launches are passed through at cost with the original invoice attached. Our fee is the agency fee and nothing else.

03

A duty officer, not a rota inbox

One named person per call, reachable at three in the morning, who already knows the vessel and does not need the history explained.

04

Protective work stays independent

Where we act protectively we will report against the appointed agent plainly, including when that is uncomfortable. It is the only reason to appoint one.

“We had a main engine problem at anchor and needed class, a repair team and a crew change in the same week. Their duty officer had all three moving before our own operations department was awake.”

About this page

Everything above is a demonstration

The business, the listings and the reviews are invented — this page exists to show what someone could put on marineagents.com. The domain itself is genuinely for sale.

Domain for sale

marineagents.com is available

You are looking at a demonstration, not a real business. We built it to show what this domain could carry — the company, the stock and the reviews are invented.

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us who you are and what you would use it for. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation.

  2. 2

    Agree a price

We reply with a price or consider your offer. Most conversations are settled within a couple of working days.

  3. 3

    Pay into escrow

Funds go to a licensed third-party escrow agent, never straight to us. They hold the money until the transfer is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Take ownership

We push the authorisation code to your registrar. You control the domain, usually within a week; escrow then releases the funds.

The demonstration site is not part of the sale by default — but if you want it, say so in your enquiry and we will include the source.
